Addison Airport Financial Feasibility

R.A. Wiedemann & Associates conducted a comprehensive financial inventory that examined five fiscal years of operating results, lease agreements, budgets, and tax considerations to establish an objective baseline for decision-making. Building on that dataset, a twenty-year revenue-and-expense forecast was developed, segmented into short-, intermediate-, and long-range periods, and calibrated for inflation, traffic growth, and grant-match obligations.
The analysis evaluated the financial impact of the recommended Capital Improvement Program, assessed alternative funding tools—including grants, revenue bonds, and public-private strategies—and sized prospective bond issues to maintain affordability and rate competitiveness.
The work provides Addison with a phased funding strategy that shows how capital needs can be met with operating margins. The Plan supports facility improvements and sustained growth at one of Texas's busiest general-aviation airports.
