Summit Aviation Expands Operations to Kentucky |

Summit Aviation, a Delaware corporation with its principal place of business in Middletown, Delaware, is establishing a new division of the company in Somerset, Kentucky at the Somerset-Pulaski County Airport (J. T. Wilson Field). The new division will be called Summit Aviation - Kentucky Operations (Summit KY). The operation will report to the President of Summit Aviation in Delaware. |

The primary focus of the Summit Kentucky Operation will be to establish an assembly and light manufacturing facility to produce aircraft subassemblies for certain aircraft produced by The Schweizer Aircraft Corporation (SAC), a subsidiary of Sikorsky Aircraft. Schweizer Aircraft needs to expand its capacity to produce surveillance aircraft, helicopters, unmanned vehicles, and other products. Summit Aviation in Delaware has the expertise and capability of providing aircraft maintenance and aerospace subcontracting to large aerospace companies such as Boeing Aircraft. |
